Quick Question- Just a Bit of Research

Please don't get offended by my bit of personal research...but there seem to be plenty of intelligent (and slightly nerdy, but who said there was anything wrong with that?!) people on this site...

How many of you are going to that 8th grade dance this month?

OR

Would you skip the dance and opt to spend more time bonding with your math/science/whatever textbook?

Just wanted to take a survey of the behaviors and preferences of strictly academically-focused people....

Dude, Chillax. It isn't that bad (in my opinion). Now to give you my answer. The demographic that nerds "bond" with their textbooks is a misconception. We like to spend time playing video games or sports or whatever. I enjoy tennis As for us not going to the dance, I wanted to know, what's the point? I, personally, suck at dancing, and it isn't as if I have the courage to ask anyone to go with me, and I hate basketball... so when there is an open gym, there is still no incentive. ANy questions left on that subject. I really do consider my self a nerd though. If I don't have grades to show for my skills, what's the point right? Just one question for you.
